City’s Mobile Office to wrap up February in Eerste River and Lwandle

The City of Cape Town’s Mobile Office is heading to Eerste River and Lwandle next week to bring essential municipal services directly to residents' doorsteps. The mobile unit will be stationed at the Lwandle Community Hall on Friday, 27 February 2026, this will be preceded by a Basket of Services visit at the Eerste River Multipurpose Centre on Thursday, 26 February 2026. Residents are encouraged to skip the commute and visit the Mobile Office to resolve account queries and access City services.

The details are as follows:

Thursday, 26 February 2026, from 09:00 to 15:00 at the Eerste River Multipurpose Centre, Cnr. Of Beverly Street and Bobs Way, Eersterivier
Friday, 27 February 2026, from 09:30 to 13:30 at the Lwandle Community Hall, Vulindlela Street, Lwandle, Strand

The City’s Customer Relations Department’s mobile team will assist residents with logging queries and service requests electronically.

The Basket of Services offering in Eerste River will see several City departments present their services and will assist residents with enquiries or concerns around:

Human Resources for enquiries about bursaries, internships, and apprenticeships
Community, Arts and Culture Development to find out how you can get involved
Business Hub and Jobs Connect
Customer Relations
Energy for meter related issues, billing issues and account concerns
Health to find out more about primary health care services
Safety and Security for information about traffic and law enforcement services
EPWP and jobseekers to give unemployed youth an opportunity to register on the jobseekers’ database to make them eligible for job opportunities that become available in their local communities.
